Endless Sky Free Download

Endless Sky game is a 2D space trading and combat game that draws inspiration from the classic Escape Velocity series. Start your journey with a basic shuttle, cargo ship, or fighter, and work your way up to a fully upgraded flagship or even a large fleet of warships and freighters. You can earn money by transporting passengers or cargo, escorting convoys, bounty hunting, or capturing enemy vessels. Engage in a civil war, or simply choose to explore the galaxy and take down pirates at your leisure.

The main storyline takes approximately 8-16 hours to complete. The galaxy is filled with hundreds of star systems and planets, along with various alien species, each boasting their own unique technologies. You have the option to select from over fifty different ships and hundreds of upgrades. A plugin system enables anyone with a text editor and graphic design software to create new ships, weapons, or missions, while the galaxy editor allows for the addition of new star systems and planets.

Endless Sky is free, open source, and available on multiple platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. As time goes on, the game universe will continue to grow as contributors introduce new missions, storylines, alien species, exploration locations, sound effects, and artwork.
