Inspector Waffles Early Days is the prelude of the 2021 adventure/detective video game Inspector Waffles. Originally created for the Game Boy Color, this new game is now also accessible on the PC!

Follow a youthful, sly, and humorous Waffles as he embarks on his first days as an inspector and tries to show everyone that he is more than just a novice. Pancakes, your partner, is an accomplished inspector and most likely the only person at the police station who isn't a police cat with no skills.

Catching evil folks can seem simple with this elite squad, but proceed with caution. In the shadows, waiting for you to make the first mistake, lies your future worst adversary.

A detective adventure game

• Inspired by vintage Game Boy games, Inspector Waffles: Early Days is a top-down detective adventure featuring puzzles to solve and point-and-click gameplay.
• There will be five different chapters in the game, and you will have to solve a case in each one. It might be drug trafficking, theft, or arson. There are still three primary tasks for you to complete:

Look for hints

• Examine crime scenes, track down the perpetrator, engage with decorators, etc. There may be numerous methods for locating hints!

Examine the target animal.

• Victims, witnesses, suspects... The entire cast of anthropomorphic animals will be present, and they may have many things to tell you or secrets to keep.
• Asking the appropriate questions and using the right clue to disprove them can help you separate fact from fiction when you query them.

Inform your companion.

• You must report to Pancakes, your partner, at the conclusion of each investigation after questioning all suspects and witnesses. He will pose a few questions to you: It is your responsibility to demonstrate that you have identified the offender!
