Typically, these directives will instruct players to identify individuals who are isolated, unproductive members of society, or nearing death. Players will then analyze each person's weekly routine to determine who meets the criteria while also gaining insights into their lives.
The process culminates in selecting a victim and executing the "Water the Flower" ritual, which involves removing organs or breaking specific bones in accordance with the victim's life circumstances. Successfully identifying the right target and conducting the ritual accurately allows players to progress to the next year.
