In 1975, a catastrophic natural disaster plunged civilization into chaos. Widespread riots, conflicts, and wars erupted. The phrase "Homo homini lupus" became a grim reality. Major continents were submerged, and the aftermath of collapsed nuclear facilities and warheads unleashed severe pollution. Few emerged from this deadly era. Many children were born deformed or lifeless, taking their mothers with them. Fathers wandered in despair, driven to cannibalism as food supplies dwindled. In this bleak new reality, both nature and humanity struggle to endure and find equilibrium. Yet, some individuals manage to forge bonds of trust, forming groups that offer protection, sustenance, clean water, medicine, electricity, and knowledge for a better existence. Aino is fortunate to belong to one such group, but survival in this world is no easy task. Engaging in perilous journeys and missions is essential to avoid isolation.
