Strangeland Game In a nightmare carnival, you wake up and see a woman with golden hair throw herself down a bottomless well for your benefit. A living furnace, a mismade mermaid, an eyeless scribe, jeering ravens, and many others who live in the park are among those you look to for hints and assistance. Meanwhile, a shadow screams from the top of a tall roller coaster, and you know that the woman will continue to jump, fall, and die repeatedly until you destroy this Dark Thing.

Strangeland is a timeless point-and-click adventure game that combines interesting puzzles with a gripping story. We are pleased to finally release our second game, which we have been working on for nearly ten years as a worthy successor to the critically acclaimed Primordia.

There is nothing like Strangeland. Carnivals exist in a liminal space between the fantastic and the everyday, the strange and the known, even in the real world. We see grotesque and eerie reflections of ourselves in their funhouse mirrors, their freaks, and their frauds, and we see the wonder and horror of humanity in a few tattered tents, peeling circus wagons, dingy booths, and dilapidated rides. It goes without saying that Strangeland is not the real world. In fact, the game's main mystery is figuring out how this nightmare relates to the real world, and its main challenge is figuring out how to escape.

As you explore Strangeland, you will need to gather otherworldly tools and win strange allies to overcome a daunting array of obstacles. Forge a blade from iron stolen from the jaws of a ravenous hound and hone it with wrath and grief; charm the eye out of a ten-legged teratoma; and ride a giant cicada to the edge of oblivion.... Death itself cannot control you in such a state of insanity, and you will use that slick immortality to outmaneuver your enemies.

To traverse this realm of monsters and metaphors, one must comprehend its inhabitants and its mysteries. Strangeland allows you to choose your own strategy, your own method, and your own meaning, unlike many adventure games that provide a linear experience and single-solution puzzles. For example, one player may use electrical engineering to win a carnival game, while another may use sharpshooting; one player may decipher a strange prophet's wordplay, while another collects visual clues strewn throughout the environment. The story of Strangeland will ultimately be your story. You are the player, not the audience.
