The Submachine World: There is a lot to see here, with more than 1900 rooms to explore. You can find and fix a wide range of places and buildings in the buried machine beneath the environment. You will attempt to piece things back together to comprehend even though everything is broken.
Narrative: Here, you are by yourself. You will accompany a lighthouse keeper who has been exiled as he discovers his way inside the Submachine ruins. As you advance through the game, you will be able to access the various chapters that make up the plot. You will gather and read a series of notes that tell the story.
Puzzles: There are several riddles to solve, some of which require you to restart the equipment, fiddle with it, and switch it on and off again. Others include missing parts, broken or stolen levers, depleted power supplies, gears, cogs, bulbs, coils, and so forth. You will be reassembling broken components as you proceed through the building.
Visuals: The entire game is drawn by hand. Nothing is procedural or auto-generated. Every place was carefully planned. The eerie atmosphere of the game is derived from stylized drawings.
Music: Marcus Gutierrez composed the ambient music for chapter one, while ThumpMonks composed the music for the game. The mood of lonesome exploration is aptly emphasized by the music.
