In The Gap Game, a man is forced to go further into his psyche as he attempts to discover a cure for his family's disease through the investigation of parallel realities that include memories that are close to his heart.
Joshua Hayes is a neuroscientist whose family suffers from a rare neurological condition that gradually erodes mental health and abilities. His best and worst times serve as a lens through which to view the family's struggle and battle. He finds objects that serve as portals to his past while exploring the unvarnished, austere settings.
Moreover, Joshua unwittingly becomes involved in a business conspiracy while participating in an experimental neuroscientific study run by the biotech behemoth Neuraxis.
He will have to confront the painful question of whether he can truly trust himself to try to untangle the web of memories.
